Hi List,

I'm trying to find a way to split up midi notes onto separate tracks so I can
import them into the Lime notation program. My brain doesn't think one part at
a time when I'm composing music. I tried running a Cal script in Sonar that was
supposed to accomplish this, but I didn't get the results I wanted; perhaps I
did something wrong, but I really don't think I did. It split the notes all
right, but it created a whole bunch of tracks with notes on each track. It
didn't retain each voice as a single unit. When I experimented with it, I had
written a dummy piece where I played four parts in. What I was hoping to get
when I ran the Cal script was four tracks with each part on a track; but
instead I ended up with something like 19 tracks with a note or two on each
track. I couldn't play anything back at that point as it crashed Sonar.

Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can accomplish this correctly, or is
it an impossible task at this point?

Cheers,

Mike
