Hi everyone,
Thanks for the nice words !
Yes, I used the latin and percussion library. It is a really good library. For
the piano I used the true pianos vst that comes with sonar, I also used
sylenth1 which doesn't come with sonar and will have to be purchased
separately. It is an amazing synth though and definitely worth the purchase.
You can buy lots of different soundbanks for it too. I like using external
libraries for my sounds and hope to purchase some more in the future. If I'm
honest, I'm not a major fan of the sounds that are built into sonar. I am
extremely picky when it comes to my sounds. I also have the yamaha mo xf8 synth
workstation keyboard too. I hope to use some sounds for that for the next
production. It is a wonderful instrument. I also plan to write lyrics for my
upcoming songs too. The next song will be a summer song and will be released
just before summer, hopefully early May. I'm going to spend some time on it
because I don't want this one to be rushed. I want the next one to be really
fast and catchy.
For the updated version of this song though, I'm going to add much more to it
like congas and perhaps some guitar sounds too. I was also going to purchase a
guitar vst but I can't remember the name of it though.
As for dropbox, I can try and upload the song to dropbox, but I don't have a
dropbox account and don't know how to use it but I can try and learn.
I'm hoping to get batary 4 for house music drum sounds too. I'm still trying to
make a decision about it though as I'm really struggling to find some battary 4
sounds on you tube so that I can check them out before purchasing, so that i
know it's what I want. Of course, there's always vengence sounds, but the
problem with that is that they have so many libraries to chose from that it's
going to be really hard to make up my mind. Even if i did get vengence sounds,
I would probably need to create sfz files for them too which I don't know how
to do at the moment.
I still have quite a bit to learn but I'm very happy with what I have achieved
so far.

Kind regards,
Josh
