Hi Cameron,

Though a shade off topic, we all need to label things.

Seiko, Avery and Dymo, all produce personal label printers.
We own three Seiko ones, and they are invaluable for all
manner of things where a label is required. (Just do NOT
use them on actual CDs.!!!)

Ideally you need to decide on a suitable size of label that
will cover the majority of your requirements, and work from
there. Most makes will take a variety of sizes, but there's
no point in buying one that will take larger labels than you
require.

George.

Subject: [ddots-l] OT: USB label printer?

Hi. This is sort of OT but sort of not at the same time I
guess... I can't write well anymore, I lost my sight ten
years ago. I need to find a way to label packages I mail
and things that I burn for students and clients. I've seen
some USB label printers on various sites but they don't give
much detail. I went to a local circuit city and best buy as
well as office max in the past few weeks and they are out of
stock.

Is there a little label printer that would allow me to type
an address or other such thing on the computer, in a text
editor of some sort, and then print just a single multi line
label? This would be very handy for me to have.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Cameron.
