Hi. Slight correction, it's accessible from version 8.04 and beyond. Pro
tools 9 is your best choice due to higher track count, more included
features, and nearly universal interface compatibility.

Just to clarify, if you are editing audio then, this will be accessible in
Pro Tools from versions 8.4 and beyond. If you need to do any MIDI editing,
forget it. Tell your tutor to give you the mixes from Pro Tools in .OMF
format. that way, you will be able to import an entire mix into Sonar and
the tracks will be laid out for you.
