The Sonitus compressor has a limiter built into it. You can' alter any
parameters for the limiter in the Sonitus compressor. You can only enable or,
disable it.

Thanks, Phil. I'll try these. I have used Boost 11 on the Master bus, but I
have not tried it on a single track. I have used the Sonetus compressor to
"flatten" some sounds from the top, but I didn't know it could limit. So I am
to adjust the bottom of the threshold in the parameters to block out the
unwanted noise? Cool.

You could use Boost11 or, the Sonitus Compressor.

Hello. I told you I would have a lot of questions. Does Sonar 7 have an
accessible limiter that can be set to cut out lower volumes such as background
noises on a vocal track? I know there are MIDI envelopes galore, but is there
one for analog recording? I dove off into some plugin, maybe called something
like "VCN64" that helped somewhat--I didn't have time to go through parameters,
just presets. Is there something else that I haven't run across?
