Per Project audio files and default pathsActually, if you are using per project
audio files, you should put the project file on the same drive as your audio
data. I have my project audio drive set to e:\cakewalk projects just for that
reason. Also, in my experience, if a drive is going to go down for some
reason, it's more often than not the system drive. I feel a lot safer having
my work on a separate drive or two.

Subject: [ddots-l] Per Project audio files and default paths

Has anyone who uses per project audio folders noticed that the tendency to
place the audio in a project in a folder immediately below the project folder
seems to supercede the directory chosen in the audio data tab under global
options? What I mean is that if you choose to use a separate drive for audio
your default audio directory for per project files should be under the audio
directory, not under your file in Cakewalk Projects. What's up with that?

  Thanks,
  Kevin
