Hey, Jay, this is Tom Smith. Has your Sonar/ct really crapped out or is it
your interface?

DJX,
Would you send me a text message, 573-356-0710, and I will add you to my
contacts so your call doesn't get filtered out.
I'm thinking Reaper, but I don't know what audio interface to get.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Living love, loving life,
Jay

Folks,
There's really no point in talking about my frustration. The Tascam FW-1884
was cool, but I'm on my second board, and it's doing it's stupid thing,
losing control information. I'm done!
Ok, here's how you can help.
I'm a guitar player, I write a lot of originals. I don't have to do heavy
production, just want to record my stuff and post it on my web site. I have
all kinds of off board gear, mostly Strymon.
I have a Mackie 1202 board, and some great mics.
What can I use to record with some lite editing, multiple tracks would be
helpful, and the ability too import drums files.
Can you guys please talk to me about this. I don't want to talk about the
Tascam ever again, that's over!
Reaper, or what do you suggest? I'm on a budget, so start talkin to me
please.
I'm headed to the music store to teach what's left of my student load as a
result of the pandemic, but I will read you're your advice as soon as this
evening.
Thank you for reading this, it helps just to write this.

Jay Pilkington
