I'm missing why you need the print score here. If the melody is recognizable, simple and popular, isn't the point that you are supposed to then come up with an arrangement for multiple instruments, and write it out for them? You need to use your ears for that. I hope you're not planning on buying an already published arrangement and submitting it as your own!

Anyway, check all the major print music publishers like Hal Leonard, Alfred, Mel Bay, etc. Just about all the popular stuff is already in book form, and many sites offer 99 cent downloads for individual songs.

It might be a lot simpler to get several recordings of the song you are going to arrange, particularly different versions involving various tempos, feels, and instrumentation, so you have lots of ideas to spur you on. and, well, get writing. *grin*

Hi all,
I need print scores of popular pieces such as Widney Husten's "Greatest Love Of All" or "One Moment In time", Maria Carey's "Hero", or songs from Pocahontas' soundtracks such as "Between Two Worlds" or "Color of The Wind". Any other popular pieces--Cristian songs, other pieces, as long as they are quite familiar will be fine. I need them for arrangement purposes. My teacher assigns us to arrange anything that we want into four parts--for some instruments. I decide to choose pieces which sound familiar so I don't need to spend time to learn how it sounds like and can go straight to arrangement process. I will need only the print files--TIF, PDF or any format will be fine. Any help? Please contact me off list. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Any help will be highly apreciated. Thanks a lot.
