Yes, I usually describe SONAR's notation feature as being optimized for pop lead sheets. Does a fine job on showing words, chords and melody. It doesn't allow for some very basic things you'd expect like gathered rests. That is, a sighted musician would expect to see a passage where he rests for 10 measures notated with a single whole rest with a "10" written with it and not, as SONAR shows it, 10 consecutive whole rests. Entering things like dynamics and articulations is problematic too. Our CakeTalking scripts permit you to enter such information but the print out looks nothing like what a sighted player would expect or respect. CakeTalking just allows you to get the information in there so a sighted copyist can clean up your score in a dedicated music notation program like Sibelius, Finale or Lime. Caglar, from what I know of your own work, you would definitely just want to use SONAR to prepare MIDI tracks which can be exported to Sibelius or another notation program. Bill
