Again, Winamp can be set up to play 24-bit.

If you export as 24 bit you may have trouble getting a program to play it.
Have you tried exporting as 16-44.1 Aiff?

I would be interested to know if the Aiff sounds like you have lost sound
quality.

Its just another test.
