[ddots-l] Problem with Audio on Sonar 8 producer

Hi folks.
 
I've installed Sonar 8.53 pro on my main windows 7 64 bit computer.
 
I've downloaded the asio latest version that is supposed to work on win 7 64
bit, but I can't get it to work.
 
I select it as the driver in advanced settings in options/audio, but when I
look at the output on the master bus, it says something like Asio, not
connected.
 
What should I be checking.
 
Got a couple of other issues too, but I'll write about that separtely.
 
Thankfully, this is only going to be my back up while my production system
is having a new motherboard fitted.
