Here is what I found in the cakewalk forum after a quick google search: The problem I had with opening old buns in Sonar 8 was when I tried to save them after modifications, I'd get a "disc full" error. I had to open them in Sonar 7, save them again as a .cwp, then open them in Sonar 8. That is the root problem then. The bundle files themselves are fine but there is a backwards compatibility problem in Windows 7 with certain RIFF files that contain LIST chunks (as found inside Bundle files). I found this when we were doing our Windows 7 testing last year and noticed that several bundle files were failing to load. This was also reported it to Microsoft. We have resolved the problem in SONAR 8.5 by working around the compatibility issue, so if you want to use bundles in SONAR under Windows 7 the easiest solution would be to upgrade to SONAR 8.5. Here is a link to another post about this problem.
