true, lol.
i did a test loading a soundfont into sfz, and then tried the same soundfont in live synth and the cpu load was much lower with live synth. but for playing simple wave files it's very useful, just remember to freeze it.

Hey Omar, that would be true, except for the fact that you can load SF2 or sound fonts in to the SFZ player. I have downloaded soundfonts from the net this way and I didn't have to do any key mapping. You can also load wave files in to it as well. I especially like to load wave files with kicks and sneers, because if I don't like the original pitch of the sample I can play it a little higher or lower. It's kind of like the story of Goldie locks. This sample is too high! This sample is too low!
