Berhane:
Did you set autotune to actually be a soft synth rather than an audio effect? this is really the way you'll want to use it especially if you want to control it through midi messages. In the plug-ins utility, select vst as the category and you should see autotune listed there. Highlight it and go over to the plug-in properties field and open that dialog. You'll want to check the "use as synthesizer" option. Press Ok and exit out of the plug-ins utility. The next time you start sonar, you should see autotune listed under your soft synths instead of the audio effects. When you insert it, it will appear as an available midi port where you can assign a midi track. If you look at the documentation, it should have a table of all the available midi controllers and what parameters they control, which is really the best way for us to use autotune.

Hi guys. I have never been successful to use the Antares auto-tune vocal
pitch correcter. I cannot get how to do the retune and other features of the
auto-tune in track inspector. Any idea?
Thank you.

Hi,

The Cake Talking tutorial advice that you display only some controls. For example, on equalizer it's adviced that you only display one band eq, so that you can have access to some Fx controls also. So, this way you will find only 4 Fx controls. To access some more controls , press the aplication key in any of the Fx controls and with arrows middle keys go to assign new controls and choose any with enter.
Try it!

best regards,

Subject: [ddots-l] Question about Sonar Track Inspector

Hello,
I use Sonar 8.5.3 and Jsonar. According to the Jsonar tips and
tracks, I can find some controls of patched fx's in the inspector. But
it seems that the amount of displayed controls is limited. For
example, I patched VSL equalizer (the same with other plugins), a
5-band eq, only the first band controls are displayed. How to let the
inspector display more controls? This plugin is not accessible, so
track inspector is of very important use to me.

Haipeng
