To answer those questions, you will need to ask the client what they mean by
accessible.
If accessible means synths with f4 menu access like ct provides, or even an
interface that you can just tab through, i don't think there are any.
If using jaws cursor is an option, then you have a few possibilities.
Also, what type of sounds are they looking for? And how much access do they
need?
Regarding hypersonic 2, it can be made to work on windows 7. If they are using
sonar 32bit, they can use the directX version, which let's you access all
presets through the track's bank/patch system. If they are using 64bit sonar,
then only vst version is available, and while you can access presets from
within the UI, it requires JAWS cursor and mouse, and some workarounds. In any
case, part output selection and channel selection among other things are not
accessible without the use of hsc.

Subject: [ddots-l] Questions from a New CakeTalking User about Third-party
Plug-ins and Steinberg Hypersonic
I am posting the following questions on behalf of a new user of CakeTalking:
Do you know of any great Third party VST instruments plug-ins that are
accessible to use with Sonar 8.5 and Cake Talking please?
Do you know whether the Steinberg Hypersonic works well with cake talking?
