Hi Kiskadee. Dancing Dots can supply everything on your list in a single order. We can also directly support what we sell, so this illiminates the need to call multiple companies when you need help with the individual parts of your recording system. When you order an audio workstation through Dancing Dots, we will preload your software (including software not purchased through us), including Windows with all updates, Jaws, Sonar + updates, related softsynths, etc. Additionally, we install the drivers for your audio interface, and we setup both the computer and Sonar to correctly use the interface. The entire computer is imaged on to DVDs, and then shipped to you. Should you ever need to erase the computer and start over (such as if you should ever get a virus), you can use these DVDs to restore the computer to the way that it was when we shipped it to you, including Windows already tweaked for audio, the drivers and software installed, and everything configured for immediate use. The entire system will come ready-to-go. Of course CakeTalking includes a massive tutorial that you can use to learn how to record with Sonar. Our goal is to make accessible recording available to everyone with as few technical concerns as possible. We understand that people want to record, and not endlessly mess with configuring their computers. We can also help you quickly get up to speed with your system through training, either remotely (over the phone/Skype), or in person. We'd love to discuss your options with you. Please call 610-783-6692 and press option 1.
