Hello:
Have you set the input of the track you are trying to record on to the 
appropriate input?  I don't have a delta 1010LT here so I can't give you 
specifics as to what they may be called, but it should be something like delta 
analog 1/2 L or R.

microphone directly connected to it, when I recoed on a track in sonar, there's
