Snapshots are handy for this.

Subject: [ddots-l] Recording automation of effects

Hello all.

I am putting the finishing touches on a project and have tried several ways
to record delay on the lead vocal track only on a short section. I have a
delay bus and have tried using remote control to mute and unmute the bus.
This works great but when I turn on Automation Write, it does not take.

I have tried this with the bus and with enabling and disabling a send on the
vocal track. I even tried turning Bypass on and off within thin the delay
properties window. Any ideas?

This is my interpretation of "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright. Some of you may
recall my asking about the ascending notes during the second verse. I think
the arpagiator I used worked. This was a project just for fun but will sound
better with the delay.
