Hi,

Do the CC2 messages appear in the event list for the Sonar MIDI track?

My wife's got exactly the same setup, but we've not used it for recording in
Sonar yet - I'll try and give it a try over the next day or so.

Cheers.

Tim

Subject: [ddots-l] Recording wind/breath controller data in sonar?

Hey folks-
I just got my yamaha wx5 wind controller all set up and am really enjoying
playing it. I own the vl70m module but that seems to mostly want to be used
for live performing, not sure how it would work in a sequence. I also have
a user bank of wx5 compatible sounds loaded in to my roland xv2020. I tried
recording a midi track using those sounds in the user bank and sonar doesn't
seem to be picking up the bc data, which i think is using controller number
2. Does anyone have experience with wind/breath controllers and sonar and
even sibelius? Although i'd imagine sibelius isn't really ment to be used
with a wind controller since it's a notation program. If all else fails, i
guess the wind tracks can be recorded as audio tracks.
Thanks
Jay
