Thanks bill, I contacted admen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To get the 15 day trial, many thanks for your consideration. Ramy, feel free to write to me at my info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx address if you continue to have difficulty. But I recommend that you request our timed evaluation version of GOODFEEL instead of a demo. See below. With GOODFEEL, you can transcribe printed scores into the equivlaent music braille. You can also use the accessible Lime notation editor included to enter, revise and print out scores for sighted people to read in standard western music notation. Lime is comparable to Finale or Sibelius. It is a powerful mainstream music editor software which has been under development for over 2 decades. It has traditionally been marketed as shareware. It's developer tells us that Lime has 80,000 users worldwide. Dancing Dots has bundled a copy of Lime with our GOODFEEL braille music translator since we first released GOODFEEL in 1997. With release of GOODFEEL 3, we introduced the Lime Aloud scripts that make Lime accessible to the JAWS user. Until then, GOODFEEL was primarily a transcription tool for sighted people who read print music and need to produce braille music materials. That is sti ll tru e, but GOODFEEL with the accessible notation editor makes it easier for blind musicians to learn new pieces and to independently create printed scores of their own. Our current demo is identical to the full product with the exceptions listed below. It installs demo versions of GOODFEEL 3.1 (braille music translation), Lime 9.02 (music notation editing), and SharpEye 2 (music scanning). However, it does not include the Lime Aloud scripts that make the Lime notation editor accessible. In order to evaluate the usefulness of Lime Aloud, we can provide JAWS users with a 15-day evaluation that is fully functional. Basically, the GOODFEEL demo should be useful to sighted people who want to try GOODFEEL and related products. But for JAWS users who want to navigate through the score note by note or chord by chord and have JAWS describe the currently highlighted note, report current bar and beat, etc., we recommend the 15-day evaluation. BTW, we will provide the 15-day evaluation copy to non-JAWS users too at their request. So, bottom line, if you want to request our demo, use the form at http://www.dancingdots.com/main/demodl.htm to do so. If you want to request a 15-day, timed evaluation, please write directly to admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and our Office Manager, Mary Pat Chuchman, will reply to you. We offer anyone who downloads our demo or tries the evaluation copy of GOODFEEL the opportunity to schedule a consultation with one of us by phone or Skype to help you test the technology.
