Hi guys, I'm a little confused... I've been learning how to use Dimension Pro and am using a fairly fast system. Dell 3.2 GHZ system with 3 Gig of Ram running XP SP3, CT 8.5. I'm using a UMX Behringer UMX 49 keyboard with a USB input to trigger and am struggling. I have to play like I am listening to the music through water. In other words, I have to play behind the music or it is ahead of the beat at playback. Isn't this reverse of what the typical latency issues are? Please respond if you can give me a clue as to how to correct this because it is hard to get in the groove when you know you have to play like your fingers and ears are hyper sensitive and must be held in check... In Sonar, check to see if pause mode is enabled. You toggle it with the pause key on your keyboard. When it is on, Sonar can play with lower latency, but it is slower to respond to controls like play and stop. #2. Check your picture cache folder. If you've been using Sonar for a while, you may have many of these...too many. Feel free to erase every file in that folder. Do either of these suggestions help? If you are experiencing latency whe recording you may need to invoke the latency compensation function with control d while recording. Remember to take it off when you're done or your newly recorded tracks will not play in sync. Is there a way to deal with that latency? Thanks. OMAR BINNO WEBSITE: www.bigoproductions.net AIM: LOD1116 SKYPE: obinno1 PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
