Omar, are you still selling that motif es 6? If so, can you e-mail me
off list please? I am looking to buy one.
I actually am cementing my studio set up now and whatever i purchase for
now will be lasting me for the next few years at least. I picked up the
fantom xr mainly for it's expandibility with the roland srx expansion
cards, since it can hold 6 of them. I luckily found it really cheap on
ebay and it is in excellent condition.
In order to purchase the motif es6, i am selling my motif rack es and a
fatar studio logic sl880 fully weighted midi controller keyboard. Both
are in great condition and i am selling the keyboard along with a very
good heavy duty stand and a sustaine pedal. I was going to put them up
on ebay but if anyone is interested, i will sell the rack es for $1000
and the keyboard will sell in the $300 range.
Yes the fantom manual is pretty inaccessible as with most of the pdf
manuals i've looked at but at least for me, it lets me know sort of
basic info on what controls the module has.
I however am definitely very enthusiastic about the yamaha motif es6,
since from what i've heard on the motif help mailing list, it is very
accessible if you are willing to memorize buttons and menus and i am
definitely willing to spend hours at it if it means i can use the
keyboard mostly by myself.

Just wanted to know if anybody on here is using a
Roland Fantom X, and if they are, how accessible
they're finding it. I'm in the process of selling my
Motif es6 and am purchasing the fantom x. Also, does
anyone know how I can obtain Roland's manuals in text
format? Roland doesn't seem to accomedating as far as
providing their materials in text.
