To remove all Norton products, you'll need to use the Norton Removal Tool.

Again, I can't stress enough how dangerous it is to mess with your
registry, even cleaning it can remove things that your system really needs,
possibly preventing clean boot ups in the future. If you decide to scrub your
registry, BACK IT UP FIRST.
Cleaning your registry won't really make your computer faster, unless the
win.ini and autoexec.bat and other bootup process refer to all those keys in
the registry. Otherwise, they're just sitting there, not causing any problems.

Hi Andy,
I constantly hear that registry cleaners are good to keep the system clean
and moving fast. Your information here though suggests otherwise, and I
appreciate what you've said. I had actually loaded norton antivirus on my comp
before I knew it was that bad on the system. Is there any safe way of removing
it?

Omar,
Generally, registry cleaners are not all they're cracked up to be. I
would be very careful when using a scrubber on your registry. Is there anything
in particular that you are hoping to eliminate from your computer? If you're
just doing clean-up, don't mess with the registry. Unless you've got bad key
values there, you should never have to touch the registry.
If you do decide to forge ahead with this risky business, I can't make
a definitive recommendation, except DO NOT use any Symantec or Norton products.
They're elephant-ware, like Internet Explorer, and will bog your system down.

suppose to choose "user determines problems" or "regscrub finds problems" when
