This means a minimum of a Guitar Port or Tone Port. To install the stand-alone application, you need to be in the installation options screen and use your Jaws cursor and mouse click keys to get it to look like the following: graphic 372 POD Farm v1.11.0 Setup Choose Components Choose which features of POD Farm v1.11.0 you want to install. To ensure a speedy installation, check only the drivers for devices you wish to use. Select components to install: graphic 533 POD Farm Plugin graphic 282 POD Farm - VST (checked) graphic 770 POD Farm - RTAS (up to you) graphic 533 Line 6 Drivers & Applications graphic 282 POD Farm - Tone Direct (checked) graphic 282 Line 6 Monkey (checked) You'll also need to check the appropriate driver for the Line 6 product that you've got. The display above is a set of 3 tree views, but they don't wake up until you actually left mouse click on them, which is why we've missed them in our installation attempts. Best wishes. I don't know about Podfarm, but when I had a Line 6 soundcard I was using Gearbox quite a lot. That was the earlier version of Podfarm that required a Line 6 product as a dongle. As far as I've heard you will still need a Line 6 product, or you need to unlock Podfarm in some other way. Anyway, you had a great stand alone interface where you could access all the presets out of the box with Jaws. I couldn't turn any knobs without tweaking, but I could change models of preamps and power amps for each preset and save my own. But I didn't manage to change the presets directly from Sonar. I often recorded in Sonar with Gearbox as my input, and then I set the guitar and bass effects in there. I know it's more like using a stand alone effect and you can't change it afterwards but it was very handy. So if the stand alone interface is still there and has a simmilar look, it should be fully accessable except for the knobs. The knobs looks different for each amp model and the amount of knobs are also different. It has the best heavy metal sound I've heard from a plugin though. /Henrik -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] För Tim Burgess Skickat: den 15 september 2009 18:25 Till: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Ämne: [ddots-l] Re: Line6 POD Farm Free The web page also makes it sound like there is a stand-alone interface included in the installer (the installer certainly creates a shortcut for it), but I must have missed something, because the shortcut fails and I can't find an .exe anywhere. I can adjust parameters of the default preset in the TI, but I thought there were supposed to be a bunch of presets available. Yes, the download process is a pita. You really should get over to Line6 and download their free POD Farm VST plug-in before the end of September. The most important thing is to get the license installed in your Ilok. Then downloading the file is a bit of a PITA, but if you don't have sighted help, let me know and I'll send you a link for the SendSpace 113 meg file. Many of the parameters and real name values show up in the inspector view. It's very usable and really doesn't sound bad at all. Hey... its free and it's good. They also have versions for some of their hardware gear to be used as outboard FX and side chaining. You Emo people would love the vomit rock sounds you can do to your voices as well! LOL!
