What version of jaws are you using? There were memory leak issues with jaws and sonar that were not cleared up completely until jaws 9.

Have you updated your Sonar 8.5 to Sonar 8.5.2? If not then, you should as quite a few bugs were fixed in that update, including a number of accessibility issues. Hi guys. I'm runing Sonar 8.5 on a laptop with xp. If I record 2 or 3 audcio tracks without restarting Sonar, my computer gets extremely slow at some point. Looks like it nearly crashes. Until it reaches that point everything works like normal. And suddenly while pressing the stop buton it takes a 10 15 seconds before it stops recording. Afterwards it doesn't matter what butons I press. Anything will have a 10-15 seconds delay until I restart Sonar. After the restart it works normally for a while again. The same thing happends if I record one long take in an audio track and I go back to correct a few misstakes. I can also open an old project with quite a lot of recorded audio. And it works to do more recording in it for a while. and then these things starts again. I got this problem when I installed Sonar 8.5. It worked fine with V8. I have 3 gigs of memory and the computer is quite fast apart from when this happends in Sonar. So I guess it's not lack of memory. It worked a bit better with wdm than with Asio but I still get the same problem. Any ideas about what it could be/what to try? Any buffer setings or anything? Any help appreciated Best regards /Henrik PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
