Well, unless the degree qualification or any qualification is a standard
requirement within any industry it is not worth the paper it is printed on. Go
buy yourself some nice new equipment to learn your craft on instead LOL. Then
let people hear and no about you and cross your fingers for some good luck to
come your way. We all need a lot of that in the music industry.
As a London Merchant banker once joked to me with reference to the MBA
business administration degree, "means bugger all". I'm not saying formal
learning and qualifications are not important. Of course they are, if only I
had checked out that plastic surgen before!!! however, you need to know that
the qualification has real credebility within institutions of your chosen
industry. I'm sure that anybody on the list who is old enough to have worked in
any capasity understands this.
