Hi, Dave,

Sorry to hear about all of this difficulty with installing!

First thing is to get SONAR 5 itself properly installed. See
http://www.dancingdots.com/ct/5.1/ for a link to a document entitled:
Instructions for installing SONAR.

This document may give you some helpful hints. Contact
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a copy to me using my info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
address with further questions. Use the link above to download CakeTalking
5.1 which is the latest shipping release of CT. As you know, you must have
Windows XP Home or Pro and JAWS 6.2 or later installed.

Bill

Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar 5 Installation Question

I'm trying to get Sonar 5 and CakeTalking 5 on my computer. My Sonar 5
is an upgrade. I was having trouble getting it to install, so I took
all occurrences of Sonar off of my computer. When I tried to re-install
Sonar 5, the install crashed. I tried to install Sonar 4 first in case
it needed to be present for the Sonar 5 upgrade, but whenever Sonar 4
tries to associate plug-ins, it crashes, too. What am I doing wrong
here? I feel like I'm taking GIANT steps backwards! Any help would be
appreciated.

Dave
