It's used by the Cyclone softsynthe, I think. You will probably want to
talk to Cakewalk about this particular issue. Which version of Sonar are you
running?

    Hi Phil,
What is the GroovePlayer.dll? It is the one which is crashing. What do I
have to do to fix the GroovePlayer.dll?
    Thank you,

When you load a project in "safe mode", you have the option to choose
which plug-ins to load. Sometimes plug-ins can cause Sonar to crash, so
loading up in safe mode is a good option.

        Question,

If I load a project in safe mode will I lose any previously saved data?
What happens to a project when loaded in safe mode?

May the peace of God which passes all understanding gard your heart
and mind in Christ Jesus.

        God bless you!

That synth is causing an issue; Open he project in safe mode by holding
down shift as it loads (i think), see if that fixes/helps the problem; it won't
load any sof synths, but you can then unload the cyclone and then see if it
does it again...

        Hi folks,

I got repeated crashing of Sonar 8.52 with CT8.40.

        The message is as follows:

A fatal error has occurred. Module: c:\program files\cakewalk\Shared
DXi\Groove player\GroovePlayer.dll a crash dump file has been created. As a
result of this error, Sonar is about to exit abnormally. Should Sonar attempt
to save a recovery copy of your work? Yes or no. End of the message.

What does it mean? and what is the solution?

        Thank you,

        Berhane Kidane
