Try www.sonomic.com. The sounds are not free, but they are reasonably
priced, about $4.00 per sound, and they are royalty free, which means you
can use them without paying a royalty for whatever you want. Pay once and
never again.

Hi,
I am in a project, to record a short story with background music and sound
effects. My story is about animal life and its world. So I need sounds of
animals such as chicken, sheep, goat, cow, dogs, cats, etc. I also need
waterfall sounds, flowing river sounds, bird sounds, and things like that.
Would you suggest me where I can get such sound effects? Does Sonar come
with these sound effects? Would you let me know links where I can downloat
them? I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Many thanks. Help,
