I guess then I need to know were to go and get a sound font. Also heard somthing about being able to play any wave file with the keyboard using SFZ. Is that right? You Have to write a text file or something? That sounds like it might be hard to do. http://www.gbrayton.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Bob Reid Info To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 20, 2007 2:59 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Sound font question Hi Greg. Yes, I think there is enough to get you started. Make sure you have a sound font to demonstrate the program. There are several free ones all over the Internet of varying quality, most of them with the sf2 extension. Save or unzip an sf2 file to your SFZ folder and read the section on SFZ in the Soft Synthes chapter of the CT tutorial. Insert SFZ with the Properties window open, press f4 and educate yourself. Is there enough in the CT help to get me going? If not, would someone be willing to help me? http://www.gbrayton.com
