Hi guys. I'm trying to record in Sonar with an M-audio Ozone midikeyboard
with built in soundcard. And I get distortion even on no gain level.
While using a microphone through the XLR and using the stereo input in
Sonar, The gain works normally but I get the sound in the left chanel
only(which could be fine). I change to mono input. On the left one it sounds
in both speakers. On the right one I get no signal at all.
On the lowest gain on the left chanel I get quite a loud but dull sound with
a little distortion. When I turn up the gain I get more trebble. It sounds a
lot better but I get more distortion.
I've checked the soundcards control panel with sighted assistance and
there's no pan button there.
What shall I try? Shall I change driver? Or is it a hardware problem? Or
anything else I don't think of?
Cheers /Henrik
