The secret, albeit it a bit of a butt pain, is, what I've always done... Keep them in their respective cases /gigbagswith 3/4 bags of silica gel! Trust me, in 30 years I've never had a problem...Apart from anything else, it keeps dust off, as well as the filthy fingers of unwelcome interferers...

This is a little off-topic for some of the lists I have cross-posted it to. However, I have a problem.I have quite a bit invested in my guitar collection, all of which I leave out and play regularly. The high humidity this summer is negatively affecting some of my instruments! My problem is this. I can't seem to find an accessible hydrometer - something that will actually read out loud the percentage of relative humidity.Have any of you come across a device like this?
