MessageKevin,

Absolutely agree. No point in messing with the recorded audio when the vocalist
is expressing the desire to record again.

You probably want to undo the vocal recording, se the tempo to the tempo taht
the singer recommends and then rerecord the vocal track at the new tempo.

    hi stacy:
if you have sonar 6 and up, you may be able to do exactly what you want
using audiosnap.
but the steps to do it depend on the sonar version you have, but in general
terms just enable audio snap for you audio track and check the follow project
tempo check box. after that ,your audio will follow any tempo chage.
when you are satisfied with the result you have to bounce it to a new track
or bounce it to clips so the audiosnap stretching will be printed into the
audio.
remember to save the edited version with a defferent name so you can access
the original file at ay time.

Hello. Let's say you have recorded several MIDI tracks and are satisfied
with the tempo. And then you recorded a vocal track. The singer says the
project is too slow. Can you delete the newly recorded vocal track and then
change the tempo? or is Sonar set to where once you record audio, then the
tempo change feature won't work?
Is this where the snap feature would come into play in regards to
changing the tempo of the MIDI tracks and then setting the tempo of the vocal
track to the new project tempo? Is this possible?
