First, understand that just because the size of a CWP file says .5mb, it doesn't actually mean that the size of the file is only .5MB. That's the size of the project file. It references a .WAV file that is probably pretty damned big. You're best shot is to save these things as .CWB files and back them off your active drive to some other reliable storage media. That way, when you need them, you can reload them and all your marker data will be there for you. These tapes are running approx .5 GB each when stored as CakeWalk projects. Of course, I can convert them to MP3 files and save huge amounts of storage. However, I have many markers in these files which I'd like to keep, and converting to an MP3 file for storage purposes will lose the markers. Is there any way to save the markers, short of writing them down in a Notepad text file and storing it alongside the mp3? ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** ddots-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
