Hi Richard, I just went through the tutorals for transposing audio and it
actually states in the tutorial that you should not transpose audio through the
transpose feature. There is a pitch shift effect which will accomplish this.
Funny thing though I can't seem to find the pitch shift effect. I'll continue
to look in to this and get back to you.

Oh by the way I have not forgotton about the midi groove clips.
I have found out that you need to locate a midi groove file which should be
located under the cakewalk folder, under sonar 7, and then you should find a
midi groove clip folder, and two folders in there in which you can actually
load a file.
When you have found the clip you want simply use your select from and through
to select the data of the groove, and select it by pressing control plus enter,
, and then move down to the end of your project press control c to copy the
events, and then press control v to paste your section.
Note: if you want the same section to repeat three times, in the paste dialogue
there is a repatision combo box in which you can spesify the number of times
you want your groove to repeat. Just make sure when you are finished working
in the paste dialogue to tab to ok and hit the space bar to get out of the
dialogue. As your tabbing you will notice other functions.
More important listen to your final results. What I mean by this is that you
want to hear if your paste is rolling smoothly.
Hope this helps.
If you need to contact me you can call me at work. Let me know if you have my
number, and if not I'll email it to you privatly, if you need further
assistance.
