Hi Bill I'm afraid I'm only getting around to this now, but can I further ask about this topic. Do I have to reinstall Sonar or is it just Caketalking? If just caketalking then do I uninstall the earlier version. I see that when I transfer over a project from one pc to another the project on the desktop has my changes based upon the Audio 4 template, while the same project upon the laptop reverts to 2 audio and 2 midi - no sends and returns. is this what I Should expect? Do you have multiple log-ins for your laptop? Make sure that when you install you are logged in as "Administrator". Both have Sonar 7 producer and caketalking on them. How do I get them onto the laptop - are they copyable from the desktop? Similarly if I make a template on one machine can I copy it to the other.
