Hi Lori.

The vast majority of music I compose is kinda atmospheric, electronic and new
agish I guess.

I do like to dabble though, so the occasional dance track will turn up now and
then.

Cheers
Darren

  Subject: [ddots-l] Types of music

Hi everyone I just wondered out of interest what types of music people like
composing, and do people write it down in notes or just play it by ear? I'm
only just learning keyboard, and am playing with the idea of creating
sound-scapes for newage cds. I have some recordings of ocian sounds from when
I was on holiday in Florida and also others of birds singing and rain falling,
so thought about mixing them and then composing my own music track for over it.
What sorts of things do people like doing?
