I think so. It has been suggested. There probably won't be any additional
releases of CT8.5, though, so perhaps it will happen for X1.

Bryan. Couldn't they modify the Cake Talking installer so that it has
checkboxes for all of the options? That way, you could install CT once on a
64 bit system.

This is because you installed CakeTalking for 64-bit Sonar, but not 32-bit.
You do not get both at once when you run the CakeTalking installer. On 64-bit
systems, the second screen of the installer includes a combo box where you
select to install CakeTalking for 32-bit or 64-bit. You must run the installer
once for each, if you intend to install for both.

The reason why it seems to be installed is because Jaws scripts are always
available, even if you install CakeTalking for just one version of Sonar.
However, that doesn't mean that the appropriate settings and DLLs have been
registered for both versions of Sonar.

Re-install CakeTalking, selecting the 32-bit version.

Subject: [ddots-l] Unable to Activate Caketalking control surface in 32 bit
sonar

Ok, sort of interesting issue here.

Here's what I have.
Windows 7 64 bit, Jaws 11 64 bit, and both Sonar 64 and 32 bit installed with
the latest Caketalking scripts.

I was able to press control f12 and activate the CT surface for the 64 bit
version, but for some reason, when I try to do this for the 32 bit, it doesn't
seem to do anything. I continue to get the message that says either I need to
turn User Account Control settings off, or I need to press control f12. I
definitely have UAC turned off.

I should add that when I press control f12 and activate the control
surface in Sonar 32 bit, I see that it is added to the list when I go to
Options, control/surfaces. But when I use the Jaws cursor to see what surface
is loaded in the track view, it says nothing.

Anybody have any ideas? I'm stumped.
