Jeanette,

If you have a reverb on a bus, and you send it to a track then, when you solo the track you should only hear that particular reverb. That is, assuming that you only have one reverb on a vocal track. As Jean rightly said, if you add reverb to a track in the way you have described then, it will only come out in mono. The way you are currently using reverb E.G, directly inserting it on to the affects bin, is not commonly how it is done.

By the way, Jeanette, I often insert my reverb the way you describe, and I
have had no problem with it. I think the reason for putting it on a bus is
just so that you can use it with another tract without having to patch
another one.
I only do that for vocals though. Others I put it on a bus send.

Hi everyone,

I have a question. I know that you normally use reverbs and delays via a
bus and then you insert a send onto the track you want the effect on.
But,
with Sonars freeze facility, it doesn't really matter how many instances
of
reverbs and delays you use. So here is what I tried to do: Instead of
putting the reverb and delay on the bus, I put it on the track and lowered
the wetness to around 6%. The entire signal then goes through the effect.
The reason I am trying this is so that when I solo that one track (for
example a lead vocal) I can hear it with the effect. Otherwise I either
hear
it dry or have to also solo the reverb bus but then I hear the reverb of
all
the other instruments as well.

1. Is this recommended (probably not)
2. Does this method give a poorer quality signal?
3. I would appreciate any advice on this.

Thanks,
Jeanette
