Ahh, that old chestnut!

That's happened to me more times than I can shake a stick at...

No matter how I've labelled a folder, either in Steinberg, or Cakewalk/vst plug-ins, some FX will always create their own VST folder when I go to locate them in the FX bin! It can even be entitled VST Plug-Ins (2), its as if the program is trying to deny me autonomy...

thanks for that info.

Guess what though? I found the Waves plugs under the category "VST Plugins". In the past, they were always put in their own sub-menu called Waves, so I didn't think to look in the catch-all list that includes everything.
