Hey all,PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
I just wanted to sing the praises of Waves plugins support for a moment.
Though Waves is not accessible to us, hot spot clicker has made it
pretty workable for a number of plugins. So I wanted to add a new
plugin called 'Center'.
My version is a couple versions back so I wanted to make sure I didn't
need to upgrade the whole Waves package and risk breaking all the HSC
for all Waves plugins.
I called Waves support to help. they were incredibly helpful and
indeed used Team Viewer to do a bunch of the download of the right
installer version and other necessary pieces for me.
This was for a single plugin to add to my Platinum suite.
I had a time crunch so I couldn't do everything during the first call.
So we scheduled a follow up. They called me right on time to finish it
up.
I haven't tried to run 'Center' yet. A sited friend will be here soon
to help me with HSC for it.
Also, we talked quite a bit about accessibility. Apparently it is a
hot topic in the shop these days. this may be because supposedly there
newest versions are accessible with VoiceOver on appropriate versions
of the Mac operating system,.
I have offered any help I can offer if they choose to pursue making
their products Windows accessible.
My last comment is a question.
Is there anyone on this list that uses ProTools and VoiceOver with
accessible Waves?
Tell us of your experience.
Thanks,
Floyd...
