Unless you’re working for Bill McCann, it seems to be a bit on ethical to
advertise on Dancing Dots list.
Take Care,

Subject: [ddots-l] Windows audio laptop / notebook recommendations?
Importance: High
Hi Friends,
I am after recommendations for the best audio notebook / laptop for windows.
Let me say up front I’m not interested in a Mac computerat the moment. I enjoy
working in the Windows environment for my audio production needs and would
prefer to keep it that way for now. So if you can help with any recommendations
on the above, that would be awesome. I would want a computer with no less than
32GB Ram and 1TB SSD though.
Thanks in advance for any help with the above.

I too have experienced this and Ron's solution fixed it for me. Whenever I
snatch something from YouTube with "Pontes Media Downloader" or "4k YouTube to
mp3" and try to import the audio into sonar, I get the out-of-memory error. I
bring the file into Sound forge, save it back out, and then it loads into sonar
with no error.

Jim
Sorry, phone was being wonky.
I've seen this message before with Sonar. Not sure what it has to do with
memory though.
My fix was to import the audio file in to something like Audacity and then
export it as a new file. That seemed to work.
Hope this helps.

Hello all, whenever I attempt to import an audio file in to Sonar, I get an out

available virtual memory, 13.6 GB. Any thoughts as to why I’m getting the
