Well if I had the money to buy it, I would definitely do so, can't get rehab
to help, so I'm on my own on this one...by what i read it does sound like a
jem...but man if I could get sonar 4 or higher I'd be good to go!

Well, if you can, I would just move on to Sonar 7. The new audio plug-ins
are excellent!

Yea, that's why I'm saying maybe, we realized those were not transferable
and the whole issue with serial numbers and all that comes in to play. He's
gonna look in to it and see, if we can't then o well, hopefully we can
though.

Hmm, you may need to contact 12 tone if you do that because you can't
transfer a Sonar licence.

Subject: [ddots-l] Windows updates question

Hello guys, I just did a fresh install of windows xp sp2. There's a
possibility that I might be able to purchase sonar 5 from a friend as he is
getting a protools workstation. My question is, should I leave the
installation as is, or should I install all the updates that are available
on windows update? This pc is not connected and will not be connected to
the net, however it does have onboard lan and I was wondering if there would
be any improvements to the audio stuff if I did the updates...I personally
think that since they are just bunch of security stuff and what not, I can
do without, but you never know...anybody have any suggestions/ideas/anything
to say? If not then I'll just leave sp2 as is and install the rest of the
software. I do have the latest drivers for all the hardware so that's no
problem, and the latest version of the software I'll be using...

Thanks, D!J!X!
