Hi,
Sweeping is simply moving the pot or knob that controls the frequency range.
such as low frequency range of 40 to 800 cycles per second. Mid frequency
range of 600 to 2500 cycles per second and high frequency range of 1800 to
16000 cycles per seconds. This is an over simplification, but turning the
knobs of each range while you are listening to the program material, will
allow you to focus in on a frequency that you can either boost or cut using
the gain knob. Most gain knobs boost or cut plus and minus 15 decibels.
