[ddots-l] another serious computer problem update

Hi again. Well, I had someone look at the cpu usage meter and the
percentage level indicated doesn't match the graph displayed. Also, when I
shut down the machine for an hour and then restarted it, it ran fine for 2
or 3 minutes. Jaws was running fine and the machine was running as smooth
and fast as it was before this occurred. However, after these 2 or 3
minutes, the fan kicked on pretty high and has been running at this high
speed ever since. And as soon as that happened, everything slowed down to a
crawl and jaws is very choppy.
Does this shed any light on what's going on? The fan sounds fine, like it
always does. However, although it's pushing lots of air, it isn't hot air,
not even that warm actually.
