Thank you very much. I will try it. This will help me a lot. Unselect all trax. Make sure you're focussed on the track you wish to use Audio Snap upon. Press ctrl + the down cursor key, to enable the clips pane. Now press the space bar to begin playback, then press it again so the project comes to a halt during the clip. Now, press F6, then the letter 'T', and finally press the left mouse button. Next, press ctrl + the up cursor key to exit the clips pane. If you now press shift + the letter A, you should enter the Audio Snap dialogue box. If you press insert + H you'll be given a load of options, on the other hand, if you press F4 and cursor down 'til you hear the option to enable the auto stretch, press enter, then Alt F4 to leave the Audio Snap altogether, you should be good to go! This method tends to work the best on rhythmic parts like loops... l8r Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: Berhane Kidane To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 1:09 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: audio snap Thank you brother, However, I didn't get as easy as you you are trying to mention it. I need further explanation how I can enable the audio snap, and much more. Once you've enabled Audio Snap for the clips you want, just turn up the bpm/tempo! ----- Original Message ----- From: Berhane Kidane To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 11:11 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: audio snap Hi Phil, I want to speed up the tempo of the project I have. Is it possible to tell me step by step how to do it? I didn't get any satisfactory explanation either in the tutorial or somewhere else. Thank you, Berhane Kidane ----- Original Message ----- From: Phil Muir To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 05, 2010 4:36 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: audio snap It's good however, it may take a little time to sort out. Depends how accurate the audio was recorded. For example, if the audio was recorded to a click, and you want to speed up the tempo of you're project then, you would need to use AudioSnap. In that instance, you would just need to select the audio track in question then, check the "follow project tempo" checkbox.
