Interesting plugin.

I suspect that this phase mismatch only really matters if you have two mics recording same source that you will inevitably mix to mono.  If you keep the mics separate (panned hard left/right) or at least not mono (i.e. at least somewhat panned), then you probably won't be able to hear the cancelation as much or perhaps at all. It might even give a bit of spacial sense.

Just my guess; I have not tried it; only heard the brief demo.

Now that I think about it, you could probably do similar thing in sonar by:

- putting each mic on it's own track

- move one of the two track ahead in time (there is a time shift parameter on each track I believe)

- if the time thing doesn't work (don't have sonar here now, but this time parameter might only be on midi tracks), then insert a audio delay into one of the mic tracks and introduce a very small (most likely 1 millisecond or less)

Just my two cents...

Hi guys,

Are any of you using the auto align plugin from Radix?

If you are, I'm interested in it's accessibility and more.

Let's talk about it,
Thanks,
Floyd...
