Sheila, You have to freeze Synths before you will have any audio to bounce on the tracks the synths are associated with. Robert----- Original Message ----- From: "Sheila Styron" <sheilastyron@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Rui,

Thanks very much for reminding me about bouncing tracks. However, even though I have tracks selected which contain audio data, I am getting an error message saying the selection contains no data. Any other thoughts?

Thanks, Sheila

Hi Sheila,

Since the tracks are instrument tracks, dont you need first to freeze them? i mean, to copy them of course?

Well, you can always bounce to track!
select those instrument tracks you want than go to the edit menu to choose for bounce to track than folow the instructions.

best regards,
Rui

I need to copy several instrument tracks to one audio track, which I have successfully done in the past. I have checked the manual and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I am selecting a series of tracks from beginning to end, then moving to the track where I want them all to be copied. I have tried checking that box which says copy to one track, and I have tried arming the audio track, where I want the synth tracks to be copied, even though I am only copying not recording. I have tried entering the lowest number track as the tutorial says to do. I'm probably missing something really simple here, and would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks, Sheila
