The Lame encoder is what Sonar uses. You therefore can't change it.

Subject: [ddots-l] exporting to mp3 in sonar

I asked this question yesterday but perhaps not in an undersandable manner.
I installed the mp3 activator for cakewalk some time ago for sonar 6. Whn I
export (mix down) to an mp3, sonar is telling me that lame 3.09 is the
converter. Would anyone know how I can get the Sonar mp3 activator to work
instead of lame. The dialog I'm seeing won't allow me to make any choice of
whether to use lame or the cakewalk activator. Thanks in advance. John
Fioravanti.
