The wave file needs to be acidized otherwise it will not work for the following method; go to clip properties by pressing F-4 and entering on option 10, clip properties. From there, move to the tab that reads stretch to project tempo, make sure that loop is not enabled, and for the tempo you will need to enter the tempo the actual file was recorded in, hope this helps, cheers!
